Editorial policy
Stellar Perspective aims to make astronomy understandable without losing the limits and uncertainties that matter. We treat accuracy as part of the writing, not a final polish, and make clear when an explanation is simplified.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against reliable published material and give particular attention to names, definitions, dates and distinctions between what can be observed and what is inferred. Where evidence or interpretation is unsettled, we say so rather than presenting one account as settled fact. Readers should treat our articles as general editorial information, not professional advice.
Independence and interests
Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers and the subject, not to secure favourable coverage. If a relationship or interest could reasonably affect how a piece is understood, we will disclose it clearly alongside the relevant material.
Corrections
If you spot an error or an unclear passage, please use the Contact page and identify the article and detail. We review correction requests, amend material when warranted and make significant changes clear to readers.
Partners and illustrations
Material created through a paid partnership or other commercial arrangement is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, their illustrative nature is made clear, and they are not presented as documentary photographs.
Wonder begins with looking closely
The sky is vast, but attention can start with one bright point or a familiar shape. We pair clear explanations with room to pause and look again.
