Write for us
We welcome considered proposals that help readers notice, understand or think more carefully about the sky. Stellar Perspective is interested in clear, original writing that respects what is known and explains what remains uncertain.
What we welcome
Pitch accessible work on skywatching, celestial objects, astronomy concepts or the ways people have pictured and interpreted the cosmos. A strong piece has a distinct question, a clear reader in mind and a subject that can be handled accurately without relying on spectacle alone.
What makes a good pitch
Send a short outline of the central idea, why it matters to readers and how you would approach it. Include a brief note about relevant experience or published work if useful, and disclose any interests that could bear on the subject. Please do not send a complete article unless requested.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then say that your message is a contribution pitch. We cannot promise publication or a particular response time, but a focused proposal is easier to assess than a general offer.
Wonder begins with looking closely
The sky is vast, but attention can start with one bright point or a familiar shape. We pair clear explanations with room to pause and look again.
